Hike in Glacier National Park
Experiencing Glacier National Park on foot is a tremendous way to take in the natural beauty of the area and to appreciate the diverse environments that coexist here. The western half of Glacier National Park is affected by weather coming from Pacific coastal areas, so it is warmer and moister, while continental air masses affect the eastern portion of the park and create areas of more extreme temperatures that are cooler and drier. You may start a hike in a T-shirt and shorts and appreciate your parka and pants at the higher elevations.
