Carlsbad, New Mexico Adventures Mountain Bike A number of bike trails with a variety of terrain make for excellent mountain biking, especially La Cueva Bike Trail. The trail is about 20 miles long and is well maintained and marked entirely by local mountain bikers. Watch out for the interesting dung beetles on the road!
